Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 14, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how BeneDoc (“BeneDoc”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses information when you visit our website at benedoc.co or use our regulatory compliance platform and related services (together, the “Service”).
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Who We Are
BeneDoc, Inc. is a Delaware corporation with operations in North Carolina and New York. We provide an intelligent compliance platform for medical technology companies. Our customers are businesses, and much of the information we handle is provided to us by those customers so we can deliver the Service to them.
Where we process information on behalf of a customer (for example, data your employer uploads into the platform), we act as a service provider or processor, and that customer’s own privacy policy governs how the information is collected and used. Please direct questions about that data to the relevant customer.
Information We Collect
Information You Provide
- Account information — name, work email address, company name, job title, and login credentials when you or your organization creates an account.
- Customer content — documents, requirements, risk records, source code metadata, and other materials you or your organization upload to or generate within the platform in the course of using the Service.
- Communications — information you provide when you contact us, request a demo, subscribe to updates, or respond to surveys.
Information Collected Automatically
- Usage data — how you interact with the Service, including pages viewed, features used, time and date of access, and referring pages.
- Device and log data — your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, and diagnostic data.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Service, remember your preferences, keep you signed in, and understand how the Service is used. We use:
- Essential cookies — required to authenticate users, maintain sessions, and secure the Service. Without these, parts of the Service will not work.
- Preference cookies — remember choices you make, such as language or display settings.
- Analytics cookies — help us understand aggregate usage so we can improve the Service.
You can set your browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If you disable cookies, some parts of the Service may not function properly.
How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, and secure the Service;
- Create and manage accounts and authenticate users;
- Perform our contracts with customers and provide support;
- Communicate with you about the Service, including technical notices, security alerts, and administrative messages;
- Send product updates and other information about the Service, where permitted (you can opt out of non-essential messages at any time);
- Monitor and analyze usage and trends to improve the Service; and
- Detect, prevent, and address security incidents, fraud, and abuse, and comply with our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
How We Share Information
We share information only as described below:
- Service providers — with third parties that host, operate, and support the Service (for example, cloud infrastructure, analytics, and communications providers), who are permitted to use the information only to provide services to us.
- Within your organization — with other authorized users of your organization’s account, consistent with your organization’s configuration of the Service.
- Legal and safety — when we believe disclosure is necessary to comply with applicable law, a legal obligation, or a valid request from a public authority; to enforce our agreements; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of BeneDoc, our users, or the public.
- Business transfers — in connection with, or during negotiations of, a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, in which case information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice before your personal information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
- With your consent — for any other purpose disclosed to you with your consent.
Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize it. Customer content is retained and deleted in accordance with our agreement with the relevant customer.
Data Security
We take the security of your information seriously and use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect it. Our data is encrypted in transit and at rest and hosted in the United States on Google Cloud, and we never use customer content to train general models. For a fuller description of our safeguards, see our Security page and our Information Security Overview, available on request. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International Transfers
We are based in the United States, and the information we process may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your jurisdiction. Where required, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.
Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at legal@benedoc.co. If your information was provided to us by a customer, we may direct your request to that customer.

The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

The Service may contain links to third-party websites that we do not operate. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.
